Activate EnergyNetWatch API Access After Marketplace Purchase

This is the activation path for future marketplace buyers. It explains how a marketplace purchase connects to an EnergyNetWatch account, entitlement, API key, usage dashboard, and MCP setup.

Step 1

Purchase through marketplace

The buyer starts from AWS Marketplace or another approved marketplace listing when available.

Step 2

Return to EnergyNetWatch

After purchase, the buyer lands on this activation path to connect the marketplace subscription to an EnergyNetWatch account.

Step 3

Sign in or create account

The buyer uses an EnergyNetWatch account so API keys, usage, support context, and billing state are tied to one customer record.

Step 4

Verify entitlement

EnergyNetWatch verifies the marketplace entitlement before granting API access, credits, or plan scope.

Step 5

Create API key

After activation, the user opens API Access, creates a key, and follows the API or MCP setup instructions.

What marketplace launch requires

  • Marketplace seller account and product profile.
  • Activation URL registered with the marketplace.
  • Entitlement verification callback or fulfillment integration.
  • Plan mapping from marketplace SKU to EnergyNetWatch product code.
  • Admin audit trail for marketplace activation and entitlement changes.
  • Customer-facing API Access page showing plan, units, keys, and billing source.
