Privacy Policy

This policy explains how EnergyNetWatch collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects information when you use our website, app, API, billing, support, and related services.

Effective date: June 26, 2026

Who we are

EnergyNetWatch provides oil and gas data intelligence workflows, public-source records, maps, alerts, exports, saved workflows, assistant features, and approved API access. References to EnergyNetWatch, we, us, and our mean the EnergyNetWatch service.

Information we collect

Account and contact information, such as name, email address, company, role, login method, account status, subscription tier, and support or access-request details.

Authentication and security information, such as login events, verification status, password-reset activity, OAuth provider identifiers, IP address, user agent, session metadata, and security or abuse-prevention logs.

Billing and subscription information, such as Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan status, invoices, checkout events, and billing lifecycle records. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by EnergyNetWatch.

Product usage information, such as pages and workflows used, saved areas, projects, reports, exports, alerts, API keys, API usage, assistant sessions, prompts, generated responses, and feature interactions.

Communications you send to us, including support messages, access requests, package requests, feedback, and administrative correspondence.

Public or business-source data used by the platform, such as oil and gas records, permits, production records, infrastructure records, operator records, source links, and regulatory datasets. These are generally public, business, or source-record datasets rather than customer personal information.

How we use information

Provide, secure, operate, and improve EnergyNetWatch, including account access, paid entitlement checks, maps, exports, reports, alerts, API access, saved workflows, and assistant features.

Process billing, subscription status, invoices, account lifecycle events, and customer support.

Authenticate users, prevent unauthorized access, monitor abuse, troubleshoot errors, enforce account limits, and maintain audit records.

Respond to support requests, access requests, security questions, billing questions, and legal or compliance obligations.

Analyze product performance and workflow quality so we can improve coverage, reliability, user experience, and data-source handling.

Send transactional service messages, such as account verification, password reset, security notices, billing notices, and support/admin messages.

AI assistant and user prompts

If you use an EnergyNetWatch assistant or AI-enabled workflow, we process your prompt, selected workflow context, relevant source records, and generated response to provide the requested feature, troubleshoot quality, and maintain security controls.

Do not include passwords, payment card numbers, private keys, confidential personal identifiers, or information you are not authorized to submit.

Assistant outputs may be incomplete or incorrect and should be reviewed against source records before business reliance.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies and similar storage for authentication, session continuity, account security, preferences, and service operation.

We do not use cookies to sell personal information or to run cross-context behavioral advertising.

Blocking essential cookies may prevent login, checkout, password reset, saved workflows, or other authenticated features from working.

How we share information

Service providers: we share information with vendors that help us operate the service, including hosting, database, storage, authentication, email, logging, billing, payment processing, support, analytics, and AI infrastructure providers.

Authentication and payment providers: if you use Google, Microsoft, or other supported sign-in methods, those providers process sign-in information under their own policies. Stripe processes payment and billing information under its own policies.

Legal and safety: we may disclose information if required by law, legal process, fraud prevention, security investigation, enforcement of our agreements, or protection of rights, safety, and service integrity.

Business transfers: if EnergyNetWatch is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or asset transfer, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to appropriate protections.

We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Data retention

We keep account, billing, audit, support, and security records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and maintain system integrity.

Saved workflows, reports, alerts, API keys, assistant sessions, and usage records may remain until deleted by the user, removed by an administrator, or no longer needed for service, security, or compliance purposes.

Backups, logs, and archived records may persist for a limited period after deletion from active systems.

Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, export, or restriction of certain personal information by contacting us.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable state or national privacy laws, including rights to know, access, correct, delete, obtain a copy, or appeal a privacy decision.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights. Some requests may be limited by legal, security, billing, fraud-prevention, backup, or operational obligations.

Transactional account, billing, security, and service emails are necessary for the service and are not marketing subscriptions.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information, including HTTPS, secure authentication cookies, server-side access checks, cloud access controls, audit logs, scoped administrative tools, and managed infrastructure controls.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for keeping credentials secure, using trusted devices, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.

Children

EnergyNetWatch is a business and professional data platform. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
